In late February, we purchased our Vanilla Pearl C70 at a dealer in northern Virginia. During May, the wife and I went out to dinner, with the top down. Upon parking, I proceded to activate the top up. A number of people stopped to stare at the car as the top came up and the car changed to a hardtop coupe. When I got out, a woman came up to me, all excited, and said "I FINALLY got to see one of these Vanilla Pearl convertibles! I saw a segment on TV the other day, and it said only THREE C70's with this color had been registered (bought) in the state of Virginia"!! (Actually it's the COMMONWEALTH of Virginia, but that's another subject altogether).
Of course, the Vanilla Pearl is available ONLY on the 2009 Volvo C70, and since I bought it, I have not yet seen another one on the road. Could her statement be true?
