Hey all! I love my 2007 C70! But there is one thing that I am not that fond about.

When I am driving with the top down the seat belt flap (cannot find the right word- oscillate, flicker ???) really fast which kind of hurts after some time. I am 6' 2" (187 cm) and I think that shorter people will not have this problem. What can I do to stop it?

Please ask if you do not see what I mean.

Cheers,

Marcus

Hope you are enjoying your '07 as much as I! I am 5'10" and know of what you speak. I don't believe it is a height issue. The only way to avoid that seat belt flutter on the highway is either have the windows up or purchase the wind deflector. If you don't have one yet, the deflector works very well and it actually cuts down the seatbelt flutter with the windows down, enough to the point where at least it doesn't hurt your shoulder.

Well Billy Sue and I find it better not to use the seatbelts they slow us down when we stop a liquor stores (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nahrung034.gif) They also make it harder to throw the empties out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/essen37.gif) . Oh and one more thing if someone else causes and accident and I crash into them I want to be thrown free of the car so I can hit the ground running .

It might sound silly, but would something like this work?

Aside from softening things, it might change the aerodynamics of the belt enough to stop the flap.

This thread immediately put this image in my twisted mind...
