hi I have a 2004 t6, 90000 miles, Last week I blew the output shaft seal on the passenger side, needless to say it is in our local volvo shop getting replaced $500 later. During this repair they have done a bumper to bumper inspection and come back with a list of items that need repair, some are basic maintenace like timing belt, motor mounts front end work, but they also said that the head gasket was leaking and will need replacement in time. Now this xc90 has treated us very well since we bought it in november2007, it has no oil leaks, no coolent loss or smoke issues has any one else had head gasket issues an if so how much to fix? We were quoted north of $4000

Had a 2004 T6, headgasket replaced due to oil leak (supposed a common problem according to my dealer). In my case, there was a small bit of oil around the front engine pulley.
