I have a 240 station wagon (1992). The fuse for the engine control system (located in the engine compartment on the left wheel housing by the ignition coil)came apart and the car wouldn't turn over. We cleaned the tip with a little sandpaper and then plugged it back together and the car worked great for a few days. This morning started as usual then I shut it off to run back inside and when I returned the car would not start. I want to replace this fuse but I don't have a part number and the parts guy has no idea what I am talking about. Does anyone know how to order a replacement fuse? Also is there a reason I should start looking at that would make this fuse come loose?
Thanks

Thanks, this might be it, I'm not sure. There is only one lead (red)with a bullet shaped end going into the round plastic (about 3/8 dia by 1 in long)fuse cylinder with one lead (green) coming out of it. Last night we changed the distributor and rotor and the car started right up! We also changed the plugs and plug wires and so far this morning everything is going smooth..I want to keep watching this fuse link and make sure nothing else is happening with it. Thank you so much for your help and reply.
