has anyone had any trouble with the remote key? I've put a new battery in, but often the key fob won't unlock the car. i have to unlock/lock it manually a few times (without opening the door as this sets the alarm off) then the remote works (so far!). Seems intermittent but getting worse. I imagine i may get stuck somewhere not being able to get into the car before long. It does lock every time.. but unlocking is becoming a problem. Is this likely to be the key, or the sensor, and what can be done about it?

Not sure, but I was just quoted $550 for a replacement key from Volvo, so hope you can repair it!!!!!!!!!

I have exactly the same problem with mine. Did you find a resolution? A dealer has offered me a new key for about £180...... Seems a bit steep.
