We recently took delivery of a 2009 XC90 3.2 and love it. While driving it yesterday I noticed that the LCD display showing the clock, temp and gear selection is dimmer in the center than on either side. The same is true for the display with the odometer and trip miles. It's not terribly noticeable unless one is looking for it...which, of course, I now am.

When the dash lights are on at night, the dimness in the center almost disappears. I don't know if this is just "the way it is" or if there's a faulty bulb. Thought it would be good to investigate here first. I'm reluctant to have the dealer have a go at it for the risk of rattles when the dash is re-assembled.

Admittedly, this is very minor and if this is the biggest issue we have with the car I'll be thrilled.
