whenever i put my 760 from parking into drive, there is a thump in the rear axel. Any way you can help me out?

my 740 does it too ... i dont care but anyway, what it is, its the auto box engaging the proprshaft which in turn engages the rear diff.

Happens when you release the parking brake, and whilst you have your hoof on the foot brake and you whack it into drive, it cant move the wheels so wil knock - possibly (stress possibly) lerch a bit and then sit still.

Mine has done it for years, i have never really worried about it, and i give mine hell 100% of the time, heck i even sit at 2000rpm with my foot on the brake in drive ... i know i shouldnt but hey, if the box is going to break it will would have done by now. thats just me though, i wouldnt recommend that, mind i have got extra cooling.

Oh thanks man! oh also i was gonna ask, do you guys know of any websites where I can get aftermarket parts for my 760 and/or car manuals?
