I got a tail light from an 83-87 740/760 to replace the light in my 89 760 Turbo.
The wiring is different and I know that a few of the wires need to be change in order for it to work. Does anyone have the wiring diagrams OR has anyone done this conversion? |

I have the 1982 to 1991 740 & 760 manual. i would scan the diagram in for you but i dont have access to my scanner right now. What exactly were you looking for?

well I'm not totally sure? I think if I had a diagram of the rear tail light on the 83-87 and then the 88-?? i might be able to reconfigure the plug to properly work. Right before I purchased the light i found out that I'll have to swap some wires to make it work. I tried to study to to circuit boards but didn't have much luck. my old board is pretty beat up so using it really is a last resort and already has issues. I'm sure some one has bought one of these older tail lights and made them work? Thanks the the response. Right now I'm using the old broken up light that I ran a jumper wire to make work but the light failure light on the dash is lit and is laughing.
