Hi all,
My M Reg 440TD SE sits on the wonk. The drivers side rear is a good couple of inches lower at the wheelarch than the passenger side. Is it basically a case of disconnecting everything at the back to allow the springs to come free, or do I need some sort of coil spring compressor as when changing springs on front struts.

you might get the old springs out by disconnecting everything and jacking the back end up, but the new springs will probably need compressing to get them in, in the past I have done this using cable ties and a large vice to compress the springs. be careful though theres a lot of stored power in the springs once compressed. they do seem to sit low at the back in general though.
