Volvo 440 Alarm Wiring, ...Whats the BLUE wire for?...

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 4 Joined: 3-May 05 Member No.: 4,730 Location: Glasgow, Scotland Drives: 1996 Volvo 440 1.8LE Status: OFFLINE	The factory alarm on my 440 hasn't been working since I got the car, so i decided to give it a go & get it working. I have the dash light doing all the right things with the key-fob and the indicators flash at all the right times. Trouble is, the siren doesn't make a sound. All 3 wires for the alarm were cut (2 inside the siren which I reconnected - black/red), but the blue one remains the problem - WHERE SHOULD IT GO??? I don't know what it's for, or where it should be connected to. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
