Does Volvo 260 share same engine with 262, 264 & 265?. :57:

not clear on when 260 took over - maybe 1982 or so??

anyway with 6 cylinder engines the big change was from cast iron straight 6 in 164 [3 litre] to V6 [2.7 litres] in the 264 [incl 265 and I assume 262] in about 1975

I imagine the same the same engine was used for 260, but of course with fully mechanical injectors of 1976 progressivly becoming fully electronic by [I think] the time of the 260

I have never seen this model in my country. Actually, it's quite difficult to find the 2-door versions, as well, though I've heard of it here.

What's the power like with this 6-cylinder beast?
