hey whenever im driving my gas gauge goes down and then i look at it bout 5 min later and it goes back up. ok waht is wrong with that? and idk how im losing so much gas so quickly theres no leaks that im seeing at all. also is there a way that i can make the idling on my car smoother? cause when i start it it idles and then shakes and dies...i have to do that bout 4 or 5 times in order for it to idle smoothly. thanks a

The sending unit for the guage might be on its way out.

Have you cleaned the throttle body and idle motor lately?

ok so then what do i need to fix? what parts would i need? how much is it gonna be? also could u help me on the losing gas quicker than usual issue? thanks

Are you sure you are loosing more gas?
If the guage is inacurate then you might still have the gas but it isn't reading it.
You would have to replace the fuel guage sending unit in the tank.

def not loosing gas homie :) like tech said try cleaning out ur throttle body real good carburator cleaner should work good right tech? Have you changer you spark plugs? dist cap? rotor? lately? When was the last time you changed your feul filters? Get a bottle of GUMOUT fuel injector cleaner or some good stuff like that also, those can sometimes be a BIG help.
It couldnt hurt to check your vacuum lines for cracks or leaks, they can be replaced for about $1 each and will payoff bigtime

yeah i got brand new spark plugs my mechanic said that he cleaned the air mass meter not sure on the fuel filter id have to check on that and ill check on the hoses and stuff thanks dudes
