Hey tech i was wonderin about something. i had just got me new tran put it and everything straighted out and replaced. just today one of my stupid idiot guy i know gets in my car when im listening to music and my car is off. he takes the shifter (auto) and shifts it from park to reverse. then the car rolls. and then i put on the brakes and shift the car back into park. and im yelling at this kid and AHHH it was insane. such an idiot. i was wondering if that did nething to my car?

Your car should be fine.It should not have hurt anything.
If you were going about 20mph and just slammed it into park then maybe. |

ok yeah i was really pised because he was like i was just wonderin what would happen if u just shifted when ur car was off.<-----probably the most stupidest person i know.

yeah and this kid is one of the volvo haters he thinks they are "junk". he has a mind of a 4 year old and thinks hes the 5h1T. but neways do u think i should just get my car checked out just in case? do u think that would be a good idea? thanks tech

As long as everything seems to work fine then you will be fine.
The worst thing that canm happen from what happened is the parking pin snap. If the car holds in park then you are fine. |
