how do i increase boost in my volvo...wastegate adjustment?

Yes you can adjust the waste gate Valve to get a little more boost out of it.
Unhook the rod and move in either 1/2 to 1 turn incriments.Watch your guage when you are doing it.If it goes into overboost back off the rod.

ok my turbo gage only has black area and yellow area 50/50 split no overboost area(red), right now my gage only goes about 3/4 the way around...about 2 o'clock position under full accleration on the road. where would my overboost be? it is a water cooled turbo.

Overboost would be at about the max on the guage.You will also feel a big drop off it if goes into overboost.
