my volvo s80 went into limp mode 2+ weeks ago.had it towed in to the dealer and was diagnosed as an electronic throttle body/module.was told it was under an extended warranty due to a recall.once they got the ok it would be fixed in no time.2+ wekes later i am still waiting due to a"back order" of thousands of etbs. Now they are saying my throttle is different than any of the others and may be another 2-3 weeks before they receive it. Also told me me climate control module is not communicating (it was working fine when i brought it in)I have seen where you can hold the battery cables together for 20 seconds and the ccm should start working in some cases. What's up with this car?
