My 240 came with a pair of your basic Thule beam-type racks on my car. Today I went to remove them and one of the bolts is frozen/rusted solid. I got the front rack off but in using a big channel-lock to try and get the rusty one off (after I hit it with a shot of WD40 and let it sit for an hour) I think I busted the knob because now it just kinda spins (yes I unlocked em).

I don't care about saving these things and want to toss em. Any suggestions how to get this thing off without damaging the car body? Hacksaw? Eeep.

I'd use a dremel tool to gently cut away the clamp that fits under the rain gutter.

I think Thule has a kit to remove this. Or at least thats what i heard from the salesperson here.
