Ok, I just bought a 1995 850 T5-R (~140k miles) a few days ago, and I have been trying to figure out some issues with it.

1.) The turn/hazard signals are not functioning. Headlights work both High and Low beams.
2.) When I turn my car on at night, my instrument panel will light up as well as my shifting column. But after about 1-3 seconds, they will kick off and everything in the car will be dark.
3.) Does anyone have a recommendation of a good interior repair person in Southern Cal (I just moved out here), I would like to get the roof interior replaced, and the drivers seat has separated in the middle of where the bum goes
4.) Does the 95 T5-R use a regular OBD-II computer or does it need a special volvo OBD-II?

Thanks for for your time

1) Check the fuse on the hazard/turn signals.
2) The dash dimmer switch sometimes causes this problem. Try jiggleing it and see if they come back on. If they do then hit ebay for a replacement switch.
3) From Kentucky, can't help you there.
4) Regular OBD II is fine.

Good luck and post some pics.

actually, jks2 is correct about the switch, but on the OBDII yours is a 95, more than likely you will need to use the black box under the hood near the passenger side headlight. if you have the coin slot in front of your shifter, you might be able to use the port for OBDII. lift up the coin slot and borrow an OBDII scanner and see if there is a signal. if not, you'll have to do the black box way. if you need help, post and we all are here to help you out. as to your iterior problems, try cartalk.com and type in your zipcode in the "find a mech" section, they might be able to help. or just try some of the top guys out in socal. they will be expensive, but at least the work will be top. good luck ,and yes, post some pics.

Well so far I have found that when I turn my headlamps on and switch to the high beam and then use the rocker switch for the hazards, it will allow for my turn signals to start working again.
