Hey Guys - I have a 1990 740 gl with a/c. The blower motor for the heater recently siezed and began blowing fuses. In trying to find a new one I've realized that the old motor has a two pronged plug while all parts stores are telling me that it should be a one prong and can't get me the right part. If anyone knows of a good parts place (new or used) with intelligent help, or even a blower motor that would be interchangeable with mine that would be tremendously helpful. Sticker on the old motor reads 5049135 1 0852 0 if it is of any help.

I am replacing my blower motor as well, but my question: is the 2 prong connector considered a two "wire" or one wire as sold by FCP Groton and others?
I have also read that the blower motors are interchangeable with many other American made cars, I pulled mine out today and seen that it an AC Delco...what other cars do they fit?

I ended up getting a 2 wire blower motor made by Delco at Auto Zone, $53 (the same as a mid '80s Chevy Celebrity) and it works just fine. I had to cut off the plastic connector and splice the 2 wires, but it works none the less.
