Which Haynes manual should I get for a 99 V70xc ?
I found a UK-based printing for S70, V70, and C70. It talks about "petrol" engines and does not deal with AWD systems.
It stops at 1999, does not cover 2000 - sort of a surprise since the 1G v70 went through 2000.
S70, V70, and C70

I also found a different manual that covers V70 and S80 from 1998 through 2005. This seems like a much broader set of vehicles, so I'd guess the coverage for any one of them is thinner.
V70 and S80, 1998-2005

Anyone have any advice on which is preferred if I am servicing only the 1999 v70xc ?

all the models until 2001, i think, are the same. basically. the v and your xc is similar, besides the usual interior and exterior changes. also the awd system, but that is the same across the board on the same chasis. any of the first ones will do for the mechanical aspect, for the awd, go for the second manuals. try amazon.com for your specific model, or fcpgroton.com good luck.
