on the 99 v70xc, the Indy shop wants $750 to service the PCV system. New breather box, not sure what else they would do.

Can I do this myself? How hard is it? Advice?

it's not that it is hard, it is time intensive. it can be done. just take your time. if you haven't already, get the hayne manual, it spells out the procedure on how to go about it. check out fcpgroton.com for the parts. good luck and post if you need any help, we are all here to help out.

Is the Haynes manual this one?
S70, V70, and C70 Manual
The cover doesn't say anything about the v70xc model, and it stops at 1999.
I was thinking there'd be one that covers the 1st-gen v70 through 2000.
