Hi all,

I have the above car n its great n fast as f....

However, it has 18" Nebula alloy wheels with Goodyear F1 tyres all round. Grip is just the best in wet and dry but they are a bit noisy. Anyway my point being is that the ride is as harsh as hell and you feel the slightest dimple in any road surface.

I know they are 40 low profile tyres but there doesn't seem to be any absorbtion of road surface.

Would fitting new top suspension mount spring seats help?

Just fitted new ones in wifes S60 n its a dream but that has 17" thors on with 45 profile.

Please help me and I await your guidance but don't want to change them v v sexy nebulas.

Neil

are you getting any "slamming" nosie over bumps? if so, it might be your suspension on the way out. like it or not, 40 profile tires will ride harsh. there isn't much in the way of absorption. a buddy of mine has a gt2 porsche and i have to say that if it was my car, i would need a kidney belt to keep the kidneys from falling out of my body. try switching the tires from yours to the mrs and see if they make a difference. if they do, it's the profile of the tires. if not, it's your suspension. good luck and post with any results.
