No problem, bro...

...and i went wondering, HOW on EARTH did this post end up in the Off-Topic Forum? I wanted to put this in the 850 Forum, actually, cos most of the torque specs are for the 850s.
:haha:

Hmmph... Must be the new 'intern' in the department, who just got in yesterday, for a 30-day stint. Fresh from the "chilling-oven" in the UK, duuuuuuuudddee... (And already HR gave her a circular about proper dresscodes to the office... HAR HAR HAR...)

what was she wearing, or what wasn't she wearing  , that got HR to give her the "proper attire" speech?

Hmmm. I know i had that in the first post, but at the same time, i was also informed that there are arguments over the issue of whether some parts are OK to get lubricates or not.

For instance, some would contend and swear that lubricating the spark plugs would make it easier to remove them later, but Volvo said, do not lubricate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)
Does that mean Volvo prefers it to get seized? And in the process of removal, run the risk of having the thread stripped? Hmmmm, dunno.

This is one reason why i didnt pay much attention to that aspect.

Another common argument, is putting the anti-seize on lugnuts. Some would swear on how DANGEROUS it could be, when the lugnuts un-screw itself, given hard driving conditions, etc. You can imagine the rest of the argument. But at the same time, some websites say its a good idea to put some anti-seize to make sure the lugnuts would be easier to remove.

I dont know.
I just you have to just pick a side, and stand by your argument. Have your own reasons to do it too.

Me? Yes, i lubricated by spark plugs.
But i dont on my lugnuts. Made a mistake once, and then washed and rubbed them off.
But that's just me.

THe choice is yours, sparky.
