question from a volvo noob... i've got a 2003 s40 with about 109k miles. curently, it won't hold an idle. it will start and run, but only if i'm on the gas. as soon as i get off the gas, she dies. my initial thought is throttle position sensor. but hey, i'm a jeep guy... brand new to volvo's. does my volvo have a tps? or something similar? where is this and how do i fix without going to the dealer. i did a couple quick searches and seem people keep saying to clean some type of valve. this doesn't really seem to apply here. right?

it was the idle air control valve... pretty much the same as the tps. thanks for all the info...
