I posted this topic a week or two ago and received some responses which I appreciate a whole lot. To get to the relay that I think I need to replace, I have removed all of the screws from the glove box insert but it does not want to come out. It seems to be stuck on the top where there are no screws and I don't want to force or break anything. Does the cardboard insert just pull out or am I missing a screw somewhere? Thanks again for your time and help...

Hmmm... there shouldnt be any more screws, especially not one that is attached to the top of the glove-box.
Try wiggling it out. Any other reasons why it should be stuck? Like glue or something? |

Hi
I had the same problem. I found that my glove box was a bit loose and was pushing the relay, for the heater blower to work loose. maybe worth checking the glove box is not being pushed against them things. |

Thanks for your responses guys.. The glove insert is loose now. I have accessed things from the lower panel for now until I get to the cause of the fan failure. When I push the slide switch for the fan to work, I can hear what I believe is a solenoid behine the radio and a whirring type noise that lasts maybe 3 to 4 seconds behind the glove box. Might this indicate a relay or sensor of sorts?
