What glue(or other options) would you suggest to keep this molding on?

Honestly, I have used a clear epoxy to reattach my reverse light covers and it has held great since this past spring. I would recommend looking into that and seeing how much weight you would need it to hold in order for the molding to stay in place.

I would check out the parts store - I prefer the 3M black trim adhesive, it seems to hold up better, use tape to hold it in place while it dries.

Silastic or plumbing mastics work well as a glue. The non-hardening types-what's on special. at your hardware store..

Thanks guys, Think I'll try that 3M glue. Sticky, yet won't damage paint if removal of molding is necessary. I'll buy the big tube and keep it in the back. I'm sure the rest will start peeling off soon................

I used regular silicone, like bath and kitchen stuff. It worked fine for me for three years now.
