Drives: 1994 850 Wagen '91 740 wagen
The blower (fan) motor for my 850 heater/air conditioner worked only on the "high" setting when I got the car two weeks ago. After a couple of days it stopped working all together. I can feel the a/c engaging when I switch the fan on, but nothing is blowing. Any thoughts on what might the issue? Fuses are okay. Just looking for some suggestions of things to check before committing it to the shop.

It looks like your blower (fan) power pack has finally given up the ghost (this is the unit that controls the speed of the blower motor).

You have to remove the glovebox lining to get at it as it is located alongside the A/C control relay.

could be something as simple as the carbon brushes in the blower motor.
