Since a couple of weeks ago my Volvo has these two situations with the wipers:

1. Wipers don't stop at the bottom of the windshield. They stop at the position they are when them are turn off. If I want them to stop at the normal position, I have to wait when they are going down and turn them off to catch them at the bottom.
2. The intermitent mode is not working. They work on slow and fast mode only.

Is there a module that control these two features? Where is it?

I believe the symptoms you are getting do point to the relay. It is located in the relay tray behind the ashtray, on the passenger side (right side).

You may be able to pin down which one it is by sound and feel, when operating the wiper functions the relay will make a slight clicking sound that you should be able to feel.

When you replace the wiperrelay , better get one from a volkswagen jetta/golf. They're plug & play with the 960 ,but they have a (extra) variable intermittent feature. Perfect when you're driving through a drizzle, and the standard speed is either to slow or to fast.

Operation:

1. Turn the wiper switch to the intermittent position then turn it to off. The wiper will wipe once.
2. When you need the wiper to wipe again, you place the wiper switch to intermittent and leave it there. It will remember the time interval and repeat the wipe at this interval.
3. To change the interval, just turn to off (wiper will wipe) and then turn back to intermittent position to set the new time interval.
4. The relay is reset to a 6 second default interval when ignition is turned off.

They're found on Ebay just look for relay 99 VW ,they sell around $5.
