my 98 s70 center colsole plastic around the gears shift is all cracked up. i think its due to the sun, because its just a plastic piece that is made to look like a wood finish. does anyone else have this problem and if so can i get it replaced?

Yes, you can, replace the center console.
Might need some time to remove it first, but definitely do able!
