Hi,

I've searched through the XC90 forums and found others that have reported this problem, but I have a few questions.

After a big rain, the floor in the front driver side was very wet. I had taken it to the dealership for a check engine light issue and they looked at this as well.

Turns out that the drainiage system from the sunroof has a tube or channel that runs inside the vehicle and under the carpet, then drains out the bottom of the car under the floor board. When this gets clogged up then water backs up in the system and leaks inside the vehicle! :o My dealer service said they would need to remove the carpet and unclog the system, with an estimate of 9 hours of labor to do it. That's over $1,000 to fix this and that's not at all acceptable (or affordable right now).

Has anyone encounted this problem and was able to fix it themselves? Do you know where the outlet hole is underneath the car so I can clean it out myself?

Had the same issue on my 04 - dealer fixed it at no charge - there was a recall on this - problem with a connection in the drain hose behind the windshield support. I'd demand the dealer fix it - have them look up the recall notice.
