This is for a 2003 XC90. My nephew said when he put gas in my car that the fuel door just fell off. The hinges are still there but we can't re-attach it. Any help?

You have to replace. Go to the dealership and buy it, they will very likely have it in stock.

Ask for just the hinge & spring, not the whole door.

You'll have to remove the old one (forcefully). To replace the new you push the pieces of plastic sticking out into the frame to create an anchor. Us a blunt, rubber mallet.

ok, wow, mallets are dangerous in the hands of new volvo owners, if your afraid to hammer your volvo, take it in. one hundred bucks to install the cap again. make the person that broke it replace it. everybody lives. :57:

I'm pretty sure the hinge of an XC90 is the same as for a V70 so check this:
