Does anybody know how much fluid to add to my transmission after I drop the pan and change the filter???? One place says 6 quarts but that seems a lot???

I am not real sure, but I think it is about 3 quarts in the pan.

DanR '94 964 339,000 miles (105,000 on the new engine)

I drained and refilled yeasterday and it was a little over two quarts.

I actually did a flush about a year ago, but whenever I drain the fluid, it comes out really dark. I was thinking about another flush, but I think I'm just going to stick with drain and refill once in a while. I do not know how to do a flush myself.
