Drives: 2001 volvo c70 convertable



We have an 01 c70 convertable.. Passenger window only goes down about .5 ''. Took it to a shop said that the cable is snapped on the window regulator. Now you can only get the part as an assy from volvo. Anyone know how to or have a diagram of what it takes to get the regulator out of the door?

Haven't seen any nice write ups on a DIY window regulator replacement. This post might help you out some.

1. Remove interior door panel
2. This gives you access to remove broken regulator
3. Replace with new or used regulator
4. Adjust window travel
5. Reinstall panel

Haynes or Chilton manual would probably have the procedure.
