i just purchased a 1986 760 turbo..it runs good (minus needing an exhaust)..but if u start it and run it just a few minutes then shut it off it wont start and seems to be flooded.the battery seems week and doesnt whip the engine over so i'm not sure if its turning to slow or if theres a fuel injector or delivery probvlem.thanks for any help

possibly, run some fuel injector fluid through them, just put it in quite strong with 3/4 of a tank, and make sure the connectors on the injectors are clean and solidly connected.

Check the spark plugs to see if they are in good condition, change the HT leads, if the coil looks all cracked and really old then change that too. It really does help.

When the engine is running, check the battery voltage, if its around 11 12ish then the alternator isnt charging, so you could need a new one.

First fix charging system and exhaust system then see what happen.
