i have a 80 240 dl and it has been sittin for a while but it ran great before it wasnt messed and i started it about 3 months ago and put it in the garage ran good this week i tried to start to it wont do nothing it had a few gallons of bad gas and it ran for about 10 mins and died now drained all that out fuel pump has good pressure got most of the old gas out the only way it will start now is if i pour a lil bit down one of the vacum lines it runs long enough to burn it and thats it but it runs great when its running but i dont know whats wrong anyone help.thanks

Have you checked for fuel pressure at the engine?
Have you checked the engine speed sensor?

gettin good pressure but have not checked engine speed sensor where is it located at and how do you check it?

It is locate at the back of the engine on the top of the transmission.There is a 10mm bolt holding it in there.If the outer part of the sheilding is cracked replace it.That may be your problem.
