Hi,
I have a 2000 S40 and was wondering if anyone has had a problem with their front headlights. The driver side headlight has burned out, I had the bulb replaced, burned out again within the year. Took it to Firestone and they replaced it, within 2 days it burned out again. The dealer is telling me it will cost $1100.00 to replace because not only does the whole headlight have to be replaced, but some kind of module behind the headlight has to be replaced too. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thanks!

I have had problems keeping head light bulbs from burning out. The last time I replace both of them at the same time (even though one was good) and I have not had a problem since. (knock on wood)
