I just got back from vacation to find the battery on my 2003 s40 dead. (the glove box was left open.) I'm trying to recharge the battery but once I get the charger turned on the alram goes off. It wont turn off using the remote or manually opening the door. Any ideas of how to charge the battery w/o the alam going off. Thanks

Then I would charge the battery with it disconnected from the car. Once the battery is fully charged then install in vehicle and try to disarm with your remote.
