good day all, Can anyone help!!

I love my volvo and dont want to get rid of it...

I was driving my car with no problems and then all of a sudden it shut off. I waited approx 5mins and it turn on no problem. It was shutting off a few days
and then it did not start anymore. I was getting a check engine light but it would shut off after restart. Now it stays on constantly...I had the check engine indicator checked and it read CODE 1-4-4 (FUEL SYSTEM ECU LOAD SIGNAL)....CHECK FOR BREAK IN WIRING BETWEEN ECU'S OR FAULT IN FUEL SYSTEM ECU....THAT
GOT A PRINT OUT OF WHAT TO DO BUT NO LUCK STILL....
I purchased (2) ecu's used and my car would crank but it would not start (luck i had warranty on both)...Not sure what to do anymore...YOUR HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
