Hi folks, looking for some help.

Tonight while driving home on the motorway i was happily travelling along at about 80mph in my 2002 T4 i accelarated while in 5th gear and then the car stuttered and then when i was pressing the accelarator there was no response and the car started to slow down. i changed to 4th and everything seemed fine, changed back in to 5th and went to accelerate over 3500 rpm and same thing total loss of drive and no response from the acclerator. the engine was still revving tho??? it didnt cut out or anything. it continued to behave like this for a while then seemed ok again then back to stuttering and no revs over 3500???

the engine light then came on and the car does not seem right at all.

i fitted a new MAF sensor 3 weeks ago and the car has been running sweet. But now this!!

The car is my pride and joy but getting a bit fed up now, going to see my volvo mechanic hopefully to get a diagnostic check.

if anyone has any ideas please let me know
