Srs Light On And Code 212, Cant get rid of code, doesn't reset

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 9-July 08 Member No.: 45,334 Status: Location: United Kingdom Drives: 1994 Volvo 850 GLT	Hi, My srs light was not working so I took dash top of and removed instument panel and replaced the bulb, now it is showing all the time. The obd reads 212 but I cant reset following the insructions in the online manual. Any ideas?

That's probably why it was removed in the first place.

Because the implications is actually quite huge. If the SRS error code is lit, your airbags will not work. And in the unfortunate event of a collision where the airbag doesnt pop out, well... Point is, i'd get it properly looked at, if i were you. But that's just me, with too much debts lying around, to be comfy or resting in peace. :grin:
