All my windows on my 93 240 have stoped working, none of the controls work on any of them. I have tried the fuse, but it appears ok, I changed it for good measure. Checked the manual wiring diagram, and it mentions a relay, could this be the problem? If so do you know where it is located? Any other ideas of how this can be sorted are appreciated.

The relay is located to the left of the Glove box. This has to removed to get at it.
Something else you might want to check is the wiring from the switches in the door. Mine failed last week. Open the door and they worked...close the door and no joy.

You can use a meter to check continuity. Mine was the black wire. All the years of opening and closing the door finally broke the wire at a point inside the rubber boot.
