yeah my 98 s70 t5 check engine light always comes on everytime i turn around. i just took it to the shop now wondering how much i going to spend on it this time. also the service light comes on every year for no reason. why? idont no... is my car just messed up or does anyone else have this problem?

get a code reader and read the codes. for the service light, it's just that, a service light. it's to remind you to get the service done. when the service is done, the mech will attach a unit to the port and shut it off. so if it's on, get it serviced. or just leave it alone. i've had mine on for a couple of years. it goes off after a minute or so. gives me enough time to light a cig, adjust the radio and pose for the neighbors wives :grin:
