Having a look at the service program on VADIS I was wondering what the generator (GEN) is?

Although not listed to be done at 126k it states next to The Crankcase Ventilation section to "Remove the generator (GEN). Clean the nipples and hoses."

Is this what they call the collection of small hoses etc. under the inlet manifold?

They also only list the Air Cleaner to be replaced every third service :blush:
are they for real? - I have allways changed mine at least every 10k-12k (with a bit of a clean in between)

NO idea about the GEN, but I change the air filter about every 7k miles- I have a home made CAI too, so it gets dirtier (sp?) than usual.
