Hi, tried to replace the rear brake pads. Couldnt get the left rear caliper piston to retract using a g-clamp. Even opened the bleeding nipple with no luck. Is there any special way of doing this or is the piston seiced?

thanx

The rear calipers have the handbrake in them so to retract the piston you need to run the piston and apply pressure. The are two or four marks on them where the tool fits in to retract them. The tools look like these http://www.draper.co.uk/Pages/Pagesource-EU/p78.pdf you can find them cheaper then that. What ever you do dont be tempted to get an adjustable wrnech on the piston to turn it as you can damage the seals in the caliper doing that.
