I'd like to know if this is normal - about every 5 to 10 days the "CAL" icon in the mirror lights up. If I drive in circles for a minute or two it shuts off. Sometimes it will light up again in a couple days, other times it takes 2-3 weeks. I don't think this is normal...

The dealer just replaced the mirror - and within 2 days, the "CAL" icon showed up. My guess is the power cable to the mirror is loose. I'm sure it's fine at the mirror since both units did the same thing. I think the cable is loose at the other end - where ever that may be.

Has anybody else had this problem? I've also had problems with the passenger side air bag shutting off. My wife ways 125 pounds and some times when she sits down the little display in the mirror shows the airbag has been disabled. I'm wonder if the CAL and airbag shut disabling are related somehow???
