does the gdi engine have a idle control valve im at my wits end everytime i stop it stalls
ive seen other post about cleaning the valve but i cant locate it on this engine

I think it's controller by an ECU on the GDI engine and not a valve.

I'm having a similar problem, I'm not stalling but the idle is a bit erratic and I get a tappety noise.

I put a bottle of Cataclean in my petrol and the car ran like a dream and the tappety noise stopped. I thought I had fixed it until the additive in the petrol was used up and I was back to square one.
