Hello, both plastic headlights of my 04 XC90 are showing serious signs of corrosion. It may be from the California sun. All the other plastic elements of the car (taillights for example) show no signs of this corrosion. The dealer calls this wear and tear, but this seems to me like poor choice of materials for plastic headlamps.

Anyone elese have this problem?

My wife's 03 XC 90 has plastic lens covers that look as if I have scratched them or poured something like acid on the top surfaces of both.

i also agree with the plastic/glass scratch remover. or, try vandsautodismantlers.com and ask it they have any used ones, and replace the lenses.
