First of all this is my first post and secondly I am a newbie in knowledge of Volvo's. But I had a chance to purchase a 2006 S40 a few months ago at a great price. I got rid of my previous car that had XM. I realized how much I missed satellite radio when I installed it in my office. Then I decided to get it for my S40. Both Circuit City and Crutchfield says it is impossible for the 2006 s40 (XM or Sirius). But I refuse to believe that until I hear from more experienced 2006 S40 owners. So, do I have to settle for the sound system that came with the car or is there a way to make it happen? I don't care if it is Sirius or XM.

I hope you get an answer. I just bought a 2005 s40 and would love to hook up satellite radio but have no idea how (don't want anything to do with fm transmiters :P )
