I have a M plated 440 glt, just bought it second hand. The rear central locking dosnt work. Have checked the fuses and they are ok. Looked at the relays but dont know which is what and there's no plan to tell me what is what, haynes manual useless. Any help will be much appreciated.

I had a problem with the drivers door not working on mine.
I took the door cards off and swapped the servos over on each door and found the drivers one was non functioning. I got a replacement off ebay for £20. (volvoman)
The rears arent so easy as the access is more tricky but if you have the patience try and swap them for the front ones.
Haynes book not great for this.
On my N reg you have to lever off the front speaker grills to reveal mounting screws and you need to lever off the small black plastic SBS plates as there is a screw behind there not in Haynes. You'll need a very slim screwdriver or knife as the coverplate is in two halves. Lever front off to reveal the screw.
You'll need to remove the lock latch too with the three bolts in the door as per Haynes.
Try this first and let me know if you have any probs?
