Hiya folks--

Would someone be kind enough to walk me through the steps involved in locating, then cleaning or maybe replacing the fuel injectors in my (new to me) 1990 740 Turbo wagon?

I'm a SMART blonde who used to fly small airplanes, among other things, but I've just never had time to learn much about auto mechanics. After the four-hour nightmare that unfolded when trying to install a new AC belt--back bolt was almost impossible to get to, was partially stripped so no wrenches fit it, I didn't realize until the last hour that there was a nut on the backside of that bolt because I couldn't see it, etc.--I'd like to undertake this fuel injector project armed with as much advance knowledge as possible.

Thanks!

Hiya'--

Thanks for that link--that's a phenomenal amount of information!

Sounds like I should remove the injectors as per instructions in that link, and have them pressure-cleaned by a mechanic, and do all the other things recommended.

Only problem is--duh--where do I even START looking for the little suckers? I have no good manual on my '90 740 Wagon, and can't afford to buy one right now.

Thanks!
