you know, the weird thing is, once all the mods that you mentioned, RIP kit, and the cone filter, i DO feel a difference. then when the ripa mod and the injectors came on board with the new turbo, it was HOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY SSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG CCCCCREEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. that scared me. neither the impala nor the camaro scared me as much. the other R scared the sceaming crap out of me because i had never felt a kick liike that. even with a 911 turbo porsche that i owned for like a week didn't kick me in the butt like these two. oh well. i also do night runs like bear so maybe it is the cooler denser air that we feeling.

yea, but one time, in band camp, i saw a guy wit a kia spectra bolt an intire turbo setup dummy style and a bov connected to a vac line, yes it did hiss, and he had everybody fooled, well, till his girl busted him out and went for the guy in the real turboed car. Even with his famed bondoed over back glass with the superman logo cut out to see though. :haha:

hey piece, the RIP kit is the big silver/chrome tube that runs across the engine, front to back. it reverses the flow. and the ripa tune is the scu being retuned. it's a different program from the ipd/mte one. and yes, a turbo is needed. even though, from what i have read, there is a program from ipd for a non turbo ecu. makes a decent amount of power.

We showed a 7-10 hp loss on several RIP kits. Nothing to do with air flow everything to do with materials used ;)

sorry didn't mean air flow, meant flow of coolant. and what materials were used that caused the loss?

I think I met that kia, and got my **** kicked. I swore I would never tell, but yeat about 3 years ago, I got owned by a old kia sephia on the highway. He did something to it, when he slowed down to see my face he laughed pretty hard then took off again. When he would shift his rear bumper came an ace from touching the ground, plus I looked better so I wasn't too offended. Whats this about an IPD ecu upgrade for non turbo? In the makes or already made?
